Welcome to our website!

Hopefully, this will serve as a valuable source of information for everyone involved in our chorus and strings classes at Dunedin Highland Middle School.  This is a work in progress.  Please keep coming back to find out more about our program.

The Spring Concert is May 25th at 7pm!!

News and Ann0uncements

Concert Attire:

  • Chorus and Strings Shirt
  • Dark pants
  • Safe shoes in school color (red, black and/or white)

Concert Information:

  • Students staying after school bring $5 for dinner 
  • Call time 6pm (warm-up at 6pm NOT get here at 6pm) 
  • You must be in uniform to perform!

This should be a great final concert for our program, so invite your friends and family to come enjoy.  We have something for everyone!

Director

Katherine Laursen graduated from Florida State University in 2005 with a Bachelor of Music Education.  Born and raised in Dunedin, she is an alumni of Dunedin High School.  After spending the last three years as the Co-Band and Chorus Director at Largo High School, she has recently returned to Dunedin to take the position of Director of Chorus and Strings at Dunedin Highland Middle School.  She is a company member of the Dance Company, Tapped In and is renewing her involvement in the Scottish dance community.  She is an active member of FVA and FOA currently working on her Masters of Music Education at FSU in the summers.
