Director

Katherine Laursen graduated from Florida State University in 2005 with a Bachelor of Music Education.  Born and raised in Dunedin, she is an alumni of Dunedin High School.  After spending three years as the Co-Band and Chorus Director at Largo High School, she is beginning her third year as Director of Chorus and Strings at Dunedin Highland Middle School.  She is a company member of the Dance Company, Tapped In and is renewing her involvement in the Scottish dance community.  She is also a member of Opera Tampa, Festival Singers of Florida and the Master Chorale of Tampa Bay.  She is an active member of FVA and FOA She has just finished  her Masters of Music Education at FSU in London for this past summer.
